As the housing crisis worsens, we’re seeing a range of businesses, corporations and even super funds announcing they want to be part of the solution and investing money in new social housing projects.

Is this just a case of businesses seeking positive PR, or is there a genuine role for the private sector to play in fixing the country’s lack of affordable housing?
