Ella Haddad MP on Under Cover Documentary

MP, Ella Haddad recently spoke in Parliament about the Under Cover Documentary after meeting with filmmaker Sue Thompson, who screened her excellent film for MPs from all sides of politics.

The film tells the story of a group of women over 50 who never imagined they would ever face homelessness but that’s exactly what happened.

Women from all walks of life, all around the country.

It shines a light on our broken housing system and fragile economic system.

The reality is due to a few unpredictable life events, homelessness could be a reality for any one of us and women over 50 are one of the fastest growing cohorts of people facing homelessness in Australia.
